Monyhull Church

Formerley known as South Birmingham Evangelical Church, Monyhull church is located on an old hospital site within Birmingham. The site is being redeveloped to include a new housing estate. The church felt that in order to be a well identified presence within the community they needed a strong identity, which could be used in all communication from the church, internally, in the local community and in the National Christian Press.

Leaders at Monyhull Church approached Real Point with a view to producing a range of visual concepts, including a new logo, for the church which would convey its emphasis on appealing to all ages and sections of the local community, as well as emphassising the core gospel message of the church.

The chosen and developed logo uses a modern look but has been combined with one of the church's traditional images - the cross. The style of the cross illustration was also developed as an identity to be used in powerpoint presentations, signs and printed and electronic media. Real Point is now working with Monyhull church on developing a web presence as well as a range of printed material.
